Much of Moss Café’s mission as a Riverdale-based eatery is a commitment to community, sustainability, quality, and creativity. Their approach to food is to use the best local ingredients and “let that speak for itself.” Much of the Cafe’s food is sourced from local farms, and a wide variety of seasonal delicacies are due to the Cafe’s creative menu-making process. The Cafe’s coffee is also a highlight, as their Stumptown beans are brewed by using recipes that bring out the unique flavors of each single-origin and blend!

How the Contest Works

Step 1: Nominate
During the nomination period, you can make as many nominations as you like. The top 10 - 15 nominees make the ballot for you to vote. Nominations can be made here.

Step 2: Voting
During the voting period, you can vote once per day per category. You can vote here.

Step 3: Winner's Announced
At the end of the voting period, the nominee with the most votes is named Best of the Bronx, and holds the honor for a full year until the next winner is announced. Winners can be viewed here.
