Sorry Mets fans, nothing screams sports bar quite like the Yankee Tavern. As the name suggests, the Yankee Tavern is a spot completely dedicated to the New York Yankees and is just a stone’s throw away from Yankee Stadium. Arguably one of the oldest taverns in the Bronx (the bar has been open since 1927), the Yankee Tavern eats, sleeps and breathes all things Yankees, from the decor to the menu and, naturally, what’s on TV. With a huge food and alcohol menu to choose from, you can spend the afternoon or night watching the game while enjoying a super delicious meal. The bar is only open during baseball season, so be sure to mark your calendar for opening day!
