All Hallows High School’s mascot, The Gael, helps to bring a high degree of school spirit to the students at this historic educational institution. Founded in 1909 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, All Hallows High School’s main mission is to help students realize their potential and promote positive change. The Gael is adopted from the school’s seal, which features an eagle surrounded by a circle, which is then surrounded by a wreath of palm that features four squares. The eagle at the center of the seal is meant to symbolize the school community’s commitment to the United States, while the wreath of palm is meant to refer to victory and achievement in scholastics and athletics. The circle surrounding the eagle is meant to be a reminder of All Hallows High School’s continuing faith. The four squares are where The Gael’s name is derived from, as they are Gaelic symbols for the continuation of life.

You’ll see that fierce-looking lion around the school, giving students an extra boost or at sporting events hyping up the crowd with its mighty roar.
