Bronx residents know that when they want to see a concert – whether it’s pop, rock, holiday music or just about any other genre – The Artist (originally called Starving Artist) is an intimate, small venue where they will be able to best enjoy a show. Another plus is that the pricing is more reasonable than many other concert venues, with a $10 house admission/cover charged per person for each show, unless noted otherwise, and there isn’t a minimum purchase required on top of that for any show. Attendees, however, are free to make an additional contribution to the musicians if they want to.
