Tracy Morgan is a force to be reckoned with in the comedy space. Though originally from Brooklyn, Tracy attended DeWitt Clinton High School for a period of time in his youth and spent a great deal of his childhood and young adulthood in the Bronx. Tracy is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live (SNL) and 30 Rock, but got his start doing stand-up in New York City. Tracy has truly made a name for himself in the comedy space, earning a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his work on 30 Rock. In February 2022, the New York Friars Club announced that Tracy would be the winner of their Entertainment Icon Award, and was the first Black recipient of the award.
