The Lehman College athletics program is regarded as one of the most respected and successful in the Atlantic Region. Led by 14 coaches the college sports teams have amassed more than 300 wins under the leadership of Steven Schulman. Of the 14 head coaches at Lehman, 7 are leaders of men’s teams, and 7 lead women’s teams running an athletics program that includes baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. The coaches have garnered postseason honors such as Hugh Reid winning his 21st Coach of the Year honor along with the Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year Award regarding his athletes as “passionate, driven and talented students” ideals all the coaches at Lehman espouse to their players.
