Marc Jerome has served as the President of Monroe University since 2017. Under his leadership, the school has moved towards becoming a national leader in educating first-generation, urban and international students. Jerome’s vision for increasing affordability and access to college has led to the creation of numerous programs that have allowed thousands of students, including over 100 Dreamers, to earn a private college education without student debt. He advocates for public policies that have a positive effect on students, especially those with low incomes. Jerome also maintains a commitment to continuing to cultivate a warm and student-centric environment on the college’s campus, allowing students to thrive and for faculty and staff to enjoy working there.

Fordham’s president Tania Tetlow is the first woman to hold the office with a legacy as the first woman to lead Loyola University. Her dynamic leadership at the helm of Fordham has resulted in a better bond rating, budgeting, and student retention, as well as the expansion of online, graduate, and professional programs. Tetlow is admired for her commitment to the university’s future. She is admired for her global vision at Fordham in numerous areas including how artificial intelligence might impact the future of the student body in terms of the skills they might need and its impact on their economy and takes pride in the university’s diversity.

An engaging Tania Tetlow is at the helm as the 33rd college president of Fordham University since February 2022. Her impressive background, personability, and vision for the future of Fordham have drawn her admiration not just from students and faculty there but around the Bronx and the city in academia. She is the first layperson, and the first woman, to hold the office at Fordham. Tetlow graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and spent five years as an assistant United States attorney before transitioning into academia. She taught law and served as provost at Tulane University and served as the first lay and female president of Loyola University New Orleans. Another Tetlow first is she is the youngest woman to lead one of the 27 colleges and universities in the United States that make up the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
