Susan Konig has published three books, “Why Animals Sleep So Close to the Road (and Other Lies I Tell My Children),” “I Wear the Maternity Pants in This Family” and “Teenagers and Toddlers Are Trying to Kill Me.” Each book is filled with a collection of motherhood and family stories she wrote for several publications, including “The New York Post,” “Catholic Digest” and “Parade Magazine.” In addition to being an accomplished author, Konig has her own publishing company, Willow Street Press. Her third book, Teenagers and Toddlers Are Trying to Kill Me, was the first to be published by this company. It ended up hitting the top spot on the Amazon Kindle Parenting and Families bestseller list and was the number one Suggested Book for Mother’s Day in Parade Magazine.

Arlene Alda is the author of 19 books for kids and adults, including the renowned book “Just Kids From the Bronx,” a book of oral histories that outline what life is really like for those living in the borough. She has written several other books, including “The Last Days of MASH,” and “On Set- A Personal Story in Pictures and Words” for adults and “Except the Color Grey” and Lulu’s Piano Lesson” for kids. A second career author, Arlene was originally a professional clarinetist in the Houston Symphony before switching to writing when her kids were young, ultimately becoming an award-winning writer and photographer. She lives with her husband, actor Alan Alda, in New York City and Long Island.
